- ideal for so many jobs
Zarges Ladders and Steps
Ladders are the "classics" when it comes to access equipment: they are quick to get out and put back, they are lightweight and compact. Depending on the application, we can supply single ladders or multi-purpose ladders which are further subdivided into ladders fitted with rungs and ladders featuring treads. Ladders are primarily suitable for quick jobs and for accessing workstations. Application examples:
- Measuring and alignment work
- Changing light bulbs
- Tensioning and loosening of anchorages
All Zarges ladders comply with the European standard EN 131, some comply with BS 2037 Class 1.
Zarges Safety Steps, Stools and Hop Ups
- versatile, practical and compact
Zarges safety steps and step stools are compact and are quickly ready for use. With their generously-proportioned dimensions, these step stools provide a safe and comfortable area to stand on. The following is an overview of the most important features:
- The step stools and work platforms are fitted with steps up to 250 mm deep for a safe and comfortable standing position. You can also choose between rigid and folding versions.
- The safety steps are characterised by their particularly compact dimensions when folded. Their large treads made from aluminium or with a plastic coating guarantee safe ascent and descent.
The majority of our safety steps, step stools and work platforms comply with the standard EN 14 183 and/or EN 131 as applicable together with the specifications of BGV D 36. Maximum permitted load of 150 kg.Zarges Platforms
- The flexibility of a ladder with the convenience and safety of scaffolding.
The Zarges work platforms close the gap between ladders and scaffolds: they offer a comfortable, roomy work platform, are fast to be employed and space-saving in storage.
A broad platform and a peripheral railing for optimum safety meet the premises of EU directives regarding "working in height". Examples for use:
- Long term maintenance and service jobs
- Working with machinery
- Long overarm jobs
- Shelf handling with bulky or heavy objects
Zarges work platforms either meet standard EN 131, the directives of the BGI 637 for standard safety and fall protection or standard EN 1004.
Mobile Scaffold Towers
- top of the class for ergonomics and comfort
Zarges mobile scaffolds are geared to make even difficult jobs easy. Thanks to their swivel castors they can be moved in any direction without any problems. And, with their roomy platform, they offer a comfortable and safe workstation - if necessary, they can accommodate several people at the same time. Bars at waist and knee level ensure additional protection.
You should always opt for a mobile scaffold if a ladder does not guarantee adequate safety - for example, for longer jobs or when you have to work at higher levels (up to 14.00 m working height) or where the work has to be carried out in a team. Applications examples: Fitting signs at high levels
- Dry construction work
- Installation and maintenance of hall or factory bay ceilings
- Lengthy jobs on walls or facades (e.g. installing windows)
All Zarges mobile scaffolds meet the standard EN 1004 for mobile work platforms, scaffolding category 3 (load up to 200 kg/sqm).
ZARGES mobile platforms -
a solid foundation for comfortable and convenient working.
Zarges mobile platforms provide you with a safe and comfortable workstation for a range of applications. Generously-proportioned steps ensure comfortable ascent and descent and the roomy standing platform means less tension even when working on lengthly jobs.
You also keep hands free ("2HF Principle") whilst your tools and working materials are readily to hand. Because castors are a standard feature of our platforms, they can be moved comfortably and conveniently from one location to another.
All Zarges mobile platforms are tested for compliance with the applicable standards and specifications of BGI 637 and/or EN 131.
